Charities

At McCarthy Bainbridge Ltd, we believe in giving back. Our charity initiatives focus on supporting local communities, educational programs, and non-profit organizations across the UK. Through donations, volunteering, and pro-bono engineering support, we aim to make a positive impact beyond our projects.

The Armed Forces Covenant

McCarthy Bainbridge is proud to have joined the Armed Forces Covenant and was awarded the Silver Award in 2023.
The Armed Forces Covenant is a national pledge to ensure that those who serve or have served in the British Armed Forces, along with their families, are treated with fairness and respect. It recognises the dedication and sacrifices made by service personnel, veterans, and their loved ones, and aims to ensure they are not disadvantaged in areas such as employment, healthcare, housing, and education.
We are proud to be able to help and support both the activities of the AFC but also the service personnel it serves.

Combat Stress

McCarthy Bainbridge support, donate and attend several Combat Stress activities throughout the year.
Combat Stress is the UK’s leading veterans’ mental health charity, dedicated to helping former service personnel recover from the psychological impact of conflict and rebuild their lives after leaving the military. The stories of those whom they help are humbling and inspirational in equal measure and we are please to be able to support them.

The BillyChip Foundation

The other charity that we support is BillyChip which offers support and help to homeless people.
The BillyChip Foundation is a UK charity that helps people experiencing homelessness by enabling members of the public to buy them a hot drink or food in a simple and dignified way. A small gift such as Billy Chip can provide not only a warm drink, but also human connection, and a moment of dignity for someone in a difficult situation.
