McCarthy Bainbridge Ltd are a long established Mechanical & Electrical Services Design Consultancy practice that strives to provide a professional & competent service, whilst providing a personal & tailored solution to each project undertaken.

The Company policy from its conception has been to provide a limited number of clients good service at a competitive rate. Being relatively small, we offer the personal approach to each project whilst limiting overheads and thus limiting the costs to the client.

All Engineering staff are not only specifically qualified within their specialist field, but have also previously worked on construction projects and as such have an in-depth knowledge on the actual workings of such an environment, which is in itself an invaluable tool in assisting the running of any contract.

Our projects are designed in Autocad together with Cymap and we have recently started to offer our clients the opportunity to have projects completed utilising the Building Information Model (BIM).

At present we have contract values for our design works ranging from several thousand pounds to multi-million pound contracts.

The type of work presently undertaken by the Company is diverse with works within the Residential Care industry, MOD buildings, University and School works, Historical building works and bespoke housing in progress at this time.

At McCarthy Bainbridge, we like to ensure all aspects of your project are catered for
from Conception to Completion. This includes:

  • Condition Surveys of existing installations with identification and projected costs for noted remedial works.
  • Energy auditing and analysis with provision of detailed report identifying defects, recommended remedial action, cost options and calculated savings assessments along with full sustainability option reviews.
  • Full Electrical & Mechanical Services design service  and contract administration including AutoCAD and Graphisoft Cymap facilities.
  • Preparation and management of Planned Preventative Maintenance contracts for all types of mechanical & electrical services including if required 24 hour engineer response in the event of major system failure or catastrophic event.
  • Full M&E performance specification services, in both traditional or NBS formats.
  • Contract Management services.
